The Trench Poets

In acknowledgement of the 100 years since the armistice that ended what was then known as the Great War, I made this video of me reading the work of a few trench-poets. Like the viking poets of their day, these poets looked to rationalize the horrors that were happening all around them. Many did not survive the war.
The 3 featured here are Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen, and Isaac Rosenberg.
