In this video, I show you how to use the Amplifier simulator in GarageBand iOS (iPad or iPhone) to improve the sound of the touch instrument bass guitar sounds, by using the very cool merge function.
The process is quite simple but very powerful. Just record your smart bass track using the touch instrument, then when you are happy with the performance, use the merge function to convert the MIDI data to an audio file, then move the audio file on to an amp sim track.
